Tiny Art - Pick up and Drop off (All Ages)

That's right, Tiny Art is back!


Open to Children, Teens, and Adults. Pick up a tiny art kit at the main circulation desk and return the completed canvas at your earliest convenience, NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, MAY 22ND.


Tiny Art kits will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Kits include a 4x4 inch canvas, a paintbrush, and primary color paints, though you are welcome to use additional paints or materials from home! Once your artwork is complete, please return canvases to the library. Artwork will be displayed on tiny easels for library visitors to enjoy.

Boston Light Keeper Sally Snowman

Boston Light – the first established Light Station in colonial America – began lighting the way for safe navigation into the fledging maritime port of Boston in 1716. 


Its notoriety in the maritime community as the “the last manned Coast Guard Light Station” in the country came to a closure with the retirement of Sally Snowman, its 70th keeper. Sally Snowman will provide photos of Boston Light’s 307 years of history and a few fun anecdotes of her experiences as a 21st Century Keeper.
