Picture Book Time (3-4 Year Olds) Monday Mornings at 10:15 am Listen to a picture book, then do a simple craft. The children are generally not accompanied by caregivers. Drop in; no registration required.

Patty-Cake Story Time (babies) Monday Mornings at 11:00 am Nursery rhymes with movement, board books, big books, finger plays and more for babies newborn to 17 months with a parent/caregiver. Drop in; no registration required.

Children's Yoga (3-6 year olds) Monday Mornings at 11:00 am Miss Christine from Little Bee Yoga Co. is excited to share the magic of yoga with JCFL families!! This fun class provides a beautiful bonding experience between the adult and child. Each class is 45 minutes. The class is geared toward children ages three to six years, but all ages are welcome to participate. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Drop in; no registration required.

We'll continue the conversation we were having and bring up new thoughts about why we read with author Shannon Reed, "Why We Read: On Bookworms, Libraries, and Just One Page Before Lights Out". She makes the case that we should read for pleasure above all else. In this whip-smart, laugh-out-loud funny collection, she shares surprising stories from her life as a reader and the poignant ways in which books have impacted her students.
