VIRTUAL: Composting 101
Wednesday, August 21 at 7:00 pm

Join Casey E. Doyle, MS, from the Sustainable Sanctuary, for a beginner's composting program!  Do you cringe at the thought of making compost? Or was your last attempt just a wet and smelly mess? If you think throwing food scraps in a pile of yard waste and walking away is how to make compost for your vegetable garden, then you need this class.

Composting 101 is the understanding and science (a little) of what compost means, why everyone should do it, ingredients involved, how to speed up the process, and what to do with it. This presentation will also discuss ways to fix problems such as too wet, too dry, and controlling smells.  If you think you don’t have enough ingredients to make compost…think again.

Please register on our calendar to receive the link.  This program will be recorded.
