Kids Yoga (ages 3-6) Monday, November 17 at 11:00 am Miss Christine from Little Bee Yoga Co. is excited to share the magic of yoga with John Curtis Library families!! This fun class provides a beautiful bonding experience between the adult and child. Each class is 45 minutes. The class is geared toward children ages three to six years, but all ages are welcome to participate. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Drop-in, no registration needed.

VIRTUAL: Holiday Romance Book Recommendations with Booklist Reviewer, John Charles Monday, November 17 at 6:00 pm We had such a great time chatting with John last year, we just had to do it again! With the holidays right around the corner, take a minute (or an hour) to relax and find some good holiday romance reads! John Charles will give us his "best of" list of 2025 that will have your TBR pile tipping over and your holidays spent cozying up to a good book (bring your own hot toddy!). No need to bring papyrus and quill, we'll send out a list after the session. We hope you can join us! RECORDING NOTE: This program will be recorded. Join author Becky Libourel Diamond as she discusses her new book "The Gilded Age Christmas Cookbook: Cookies and Treats from America's Golden Era" with all of the details that will go straight to your foodie heart. "The Gilded Age Christmas Cookbook" bridges the past and present, bringing back sugar plums and other confections not typically found in modern cookbooks, while revisiting some beloved favorites. Please note that this is a discussion NOT a cooking demo. But, feel free to grab the book from your library or local indie bookstore to learn how to make some fantastic, historical treats from one of our favorite eras! Don't forget to Sign Up for the December "Kaboom Box"! The November subscription box was a big hit - don't miss out! After all, we had 18 registrations, and there are only 20 boxes each month! Here's how the subscription works: * Sign up for the Book Box each month (on our calendar: December 10). Each Box will include a new library book along with treats, crafts, and other goodies. * Pick up your box at the Library on the second Wednesday of the month. * Return the book and box when done, but everything else is yours to keep! Registration is open to Hanover residents only through December 3 at 8:00 pm. After that, registration will open to everyone.
