Weymouth Health Department Blood Pressure Clinic

 In the Narcan and Overdose Prevention presentation, a representative from MANET Community Health will introduce attendees to Naloxone AKA Narcan, and how it can save someone’s life during an opioid overdose. Additionally, people will be educated on how to identify signs of an overdose, how to respond to an overdose when one has been identified, how to administer Narcan and when to administer more than one dose, and more information about this life-saving medication.

Watercolor Class with Pop Up Art School
 
Follow along step-by-step as we paint a serene mountain landscape using watercolor paint. Learn about atmospheric perspective and how to create a sense of the depth in your painting. You'll create 2 to 3 smaller watercolor paintings so you can practice and become confident when painting wet on wet and wet on dry.

Tumblebook Library
 
Our Library has a subscription to TumbleBook Library, and your family can access it from home! It's unlimited and it's FREE for you to use from home!
 
TumbleBook Library is an online collection of e-books for children.  They are a great way to encourage tech-savvy kids to enjoy reading!
 
There are over 250 animated, talking picture books! The site also features Spanish and French books, read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, and exciting games and puzzles!
 
 
New Multi-Lingual Children's Book Database

Weymouth Public Libraries patrons now have access to digital children's books in 13 different languages through the "AV2 World Languages" database. Parents and children can read or listen to 110 different titles, each available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, German, Hindi, Korean, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Urdu. AV2 is great for language learners as well!
