Stratfest @ Home

The Stratford Festival in Ontario, Canada is North America's largest classical repertory theatre company. They present dozens of productions each year, including contemporary dramas and musicals, with special emphasis on the plays of Shakespeare.

Since theater-going is not possible at the moment, the festival has launched an online portal to delve into twelve festival favorite Shakespeare productions. The release of the filmed production of each play (three have already been shared) will be accompanied by behind the scenes videos, study guides, and interviews with creators, actors and others.

75th Anniversary of VE Day

In May 1945, the Second World War in Europe came to an end with the unconditional surrender of all German forces. 8 May was declared a national holiday--Victory in Europe Day--and celebrations swept the country.

The National Museum of the Royal Navy, the National Army Museum and the Royal Air Force Museum have joined forces to host a free online festival, bringing to life the stories of those who helped deliver Victory in Europe.
