Raising children can be difficult- keeping up with new milestones, doctors appointments, school, and even daily life is a challenge! While making sure your little one is happy and healthy is important, so is taking care of yourself! Keep reading for the many ways the library can help you, whether from books, programs, or databases!
Handley Programs:
La Leche League: 2nd Tuesdays at 11am - Join us for a chat and playdate with La Leche League NSV to lend parenting and lactation support. 
 
Mental Health Workshop: 3rd Thursdays at 3pm - In partnership with North Western Community Services Board, CWS Winchester presents a workshop on mental health and wellness.
 
Better Human Book Club: 1st Wednesdays at 6:30pm - Let's gather to read books that help us be our best selves! Introducing the Better Human Book Club, a partnership between the Handley Library branch and MoveMentation. Meet and Greet on May 7th, first meeting on July 2nd!
 
Grow A Reader Playgroup: Thursdays in August at 9:30am - This 5-week interactive playgroup will feature educational components with outside professionals each week that will developmentally support your reader through learning and play. Registration required!
 
Bowman Programs:
Adult Craft Creations: 3rd Mondays at 6pm - Join us for a fun and relaxing way to relieve some stress and express your creativity. Socialize and connect with other adults and complete a simple and fun art activity.
 
Women's Tai Chi Group: Varying Wednesdays at 5:30pm - This group is for those women (18+, please!) who want to deepen their connection with themselves, physically and energetically, while also forming and deepening connections with other powerful women.
