YES Community Mental Health Promotion and Support (COMHPS) Friday, May 2, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm A representative from Youth Enrichment Services COMHPS team will provide information on their mental health services every first Friday of the month. CHILDREN Drop in between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on May 2 for some dot marker fun! Dress for mess. Craft Kit: Every Saturday. All ages, no registration required, while supplies last. Dog Scavenger HuntFor the whole month of April, kids can search for dog characters throughout the Children's Library! Participants will be entered into a raffle to win a toy dog. For the whole month of May, kids can find food that the Very Hungry Caterpillar has taken a bite out of throughout the Children's Library! Participants will be entered into a raffle.

Personal Care Community Cabinet & Give or Take Food Pantry If you are able, please donate items such as shampoo, soap, gloves, socks, period products, dental products, and/or non-perishable, unexpired food. The Community Cabinet and Food Pantry donation bin is located in the lobby.

Sign Up to be a Literacy Volunteer Are you interested in helping an English speaker learn to read and write? The Library is looking for volunteers with instructional experience. You can open countless doors for someone else by offering the gift of literacy. Interested persons should complete this application and contact Jack in the Reference Department at 631-286-0818 ext 1.

The Library has a Notary Public Fee: $2.00 per notarized signature We are not able to notarize wills, mortgages, or sales of property. All documents must be in English. You must have a valid New York State driver’s license or identification card. You may use a valid United States passport but must also have proof of residence that shows your current address. No post office boxes.

Passport Services by Appointment We serve first-time applicants, minor applicants, adult applicants whose most recent passport was issued as a minor, and applicants who have lost their passports.

Hours are by appointment only. You may also call us at 631-286-0818 x1. Our service cannot renew a passport. That is a separate process: Printed forms are available by the Reference Desk.
