September is Library Card Sign-up Month! To celebrate, everyone who signs up for a library card in September will be entered into a drawing for a prize. Already have a card? Amazing! Enter the drawing by sharing your favorite way to use your card (checking out books, movies, or birding backpacks? Accessing NYT, Kanopy or Libby? Visiting a State Park or seeing APT for free?) There are so many ways to use your card!

Drop in for card and board gaming fun! We'll provide a variety of classic and new games or bring your own. Light refreshments will be provided. Bring in a food pantry donation for a chance to win a free game!

The library will have a front row seat to the McFarland Community Festival! Stop by for food, rides, vendors, live music, bingo, trivia, parade, and more! 


IMPORTANT NOTES: 

  • Our parking lot and outside book drop will be closed. We hope to reopen both sometime Monday, September 30th.

  • Handicapped parking will be available on Long Street.

  • Holds will not expire and we no longer charge overdue fines.

Find great bargains on used books and DVDs. On Saturday, fill a bag and name your price. All proceeds benefit our library!


Friends 50/50 Raffle Fundraiser

Support the library by participating in the Friends 50/50 Raffle. Tickets are available now at the library for $5/each or 5 for $20. Winner will be drawn Monday, September 29th; need not be present to win.


Festival Trivia

Registration is open for our fourth annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Dash! New this year, older kids can add a 1/4 mile run to the obstacle dash. All participants will receive a knitted beanie hat. All proceeds benefit our library!
