McFarland Caring Quilts Gallery Opening & Reception

Saturday, November 15 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

McFarland Caring Quilts is a community craft project developed by the E.D. Locke Public Library and McFarland Senior Outreach to engage older adults in creative, collaborative crafting to make beautiful, functional textiles for community members in need.


Join us for our quilt gallery opening and reception to celebrate the hard work of our volunteers. Enjoy coffee and pastries during a short presentation, enter to win a door prize, and explore the quilts displayed throughout the library.


We are seeking quilting memories/stories to share at the reception as well as nominations for community members in need of a quilt:

Family Game Day. Saturday, November 8, 10 am - 2 pm, Library Community Room. Stay the whole time, or drop in when it works for you!

Family Game Day

Saturday, November 8 | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Bring the whole family for card and board gaming fun! We'll provide a variety of classic and newer games, or bring your own. Enjoy light refreshments and bring a food pantry donation for a chance to win a free game.

PJ Storytime Royal Stuffed Animal Sleep Over. Thursday, November 20 @ 6:30 pm. Bring your stuffed animal buddy for storytime and (if you want) let them stay overnight at the library.

Bring your stuffed animal buddy for the royal treatment with a storytime followed by crafts and snacks. Participants have the option to leave their stuffed animals overnight for adventures and mischief in the library after hours.
