Winter Clothing Drive. We're partnering with the nonprofit Free Sales for Families to hold a winter clothing drive throughout the months of December and January. Thank you for helping keep your neighbors warm this winter! Donation bin is in the library lobby.

McFarland Caring Quilts

The library is partnering with McFarland Senior Outreach in a community craft project to engage adults in collaborative crafting to create beautiful, functional textiles for community members in need.


We are seeking material donations and volunteers with sewing and quilting experience who would be willing to help guide and support the project.

Storytime Zoom Options


Not feeling well? Icy roads? This winter/spring we are offering Zoom options for Toddler Monday Storytime, Zumbini, Little Bodies Big Feelings, and PJ Storytime.

To attend these programs virtually, email youthservices@mcfarlandlibrary.org by 9:00 am the day of the program you wish to attend.  For PJ Storytime, please email by 5:30 pm the day of the program.

Learn the basics about your mobile device with these FREE workshops. Topics include navigating your device, common apps, helpful accessibility & privacy settings, and tips & tricks for safety and security. All attendees will leave with new library swag and be entered to win door prizes ranging from gift cards to tablets.
