Banned Books Week

October 5-11 | Censorship is So 1984 - Read For Your Rights!
George Orwell’s cautionary tale "1984" warns against the dangers of censorship. As attempts to ban books in libraries, schools, and bookstores continue to rise, Banned Books Week reminds us to stand up for the right to read and access information freely. Visit the library to check out special book displays and fill out a bingo sheet to enter a prize drawing.

You may have noticed a recent change to the way hold suspensions work in Libby. Instead of choosing an end date, you now simply suspend or unsuspend a hold. If you miss your hold on its first delivery, it will be suspended until you unsuspend it. Holds are automatically canceled if they’re suspended for 365 consecutive days.
