The Hampstead Public Library in partnership with the Hampstead Historical Society has another great America@250 event on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:30pm: The Start of the Revolutionary War in NH with John Bell. Bell, a prominent historian and author, discusses the first exchange of fire between the king’s government and the patriots in NH prior to the battle of Lexington and Concord, plus other early events of the Revolutionary War. This program is made possible by New Hampshire Humanities, in partnership with NHPBS, with additional support provided by Cogswell Benevolent Trust.
