May Is Blooming! April Showers have given way to Blooming May Flowers and the Library is Blooming with new Programs! We will be introducing Baby Time with Ms. Steph happening every other Tuesday at 10:45 am. Weekly Walk on Wednesdays at 10:30am will begin on May 3 meeting at the Sumner Field gazebo as well as Guys & Games happening every other Friday at 11:30 am on the Library Lawn.

Introducing... the Holbrook Library Fund!
The Holbrook Public Library's Board of Trustees would like to announce the creation of the Holbrook Public Library Fund. This non profit organization was founded to support the Holbrook Public Library's capital needs including helping to raise the necessary money that may be needed to help fund a Library renovation, expansion, or new facility. ART FROM THE INSIDE May 2-May 30 Holbrook Public Library is pleased to be hosting a special art exhibit presented by Prison Book Program, a non profit organization that provides reading and educational materials to incarcerated individuals. Featuring more than 20 works, each created by a currently incarcerated or formerly incarcerated individual and given as a gift to Prison Book Program for the compassion and care shown to the artists through the ongoing provision of books.

BabyTime at the Library Every other Tuesday at 10:45, Ms. Steph will lead a 45 minute Baby Time session. Similar to our weekly Story Hour, but specifically designed for our youngest patrons (0-3 years)

Rainbow Bead Cuff Bracelet Join Ms. Cat on Tuesday, May 30 at 3pm Registration is required and this program is only for grades 5-8. visit: www.holbrookpubliclibrary.org

Rock Painting Join Ms. Cat on Tuesday, May 16 at 3pm. This program is opened to all ages and all supplies will be provided for the artists. Registration is not required.

READ TO POLAR BEAR

Therapy Dog Reading Time
We are excited to have Polar Bear be joining us at the Library for an hour every Thursday afternoon at 4 pm. There will be (4) 15 minute time slots for families to sign up to read to Polar Bear. There is no required pre-registration for this program. Slots are 1st come, 1st served and families can check in at the Circulation Desk beginning at 4 pm to be assigned an available time slot.

Friends Updates
The Friends are meeting on Wednesday, May 11 at 6:30pm. All are welcome to attend to learn more about the Friends Group and to get involved with their efforts to raise funds to support Library Programming. On the agenda is a review of the Childrens' Book Alley event as well as the Gardening Gift Basket Raffle. Congratulations to Rose, who was the winner of the raffle!
