| Ridgecrest Branch Library to Temporarily Close for Critical Safety and Maintenance Improvements from
Tuesday, November 4, 2025, through Tuesday, January 20, 2026. |
Ridgecrest, CA – Kern County Library announces a temporary closure of the Ridgecrest Branch Library, located at 131 E. Las Flores Avenue, Ridgecrest, CA 93555, to complete critical life-safety and maintenance improvements. The closure ensures the necessary work can be completed safely and effectively.
The Branch will closed beginning Tuesday, November 4, 2025, with plans to reopen on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. This project is made possible through $1,162,356 in funding from the Building Forward Library Infrastructure Grant, administered by the California State Library.
During this period, Ridgecrest patrons are encouraged to take advantage of the Library’s extensive digital services, available anytime at www.kernlibrary.org/eLibrary, including eBooks, audiobooks, and streaming media. |
