| It’s Never Too Late: Author Panel at Southwest Library
Celebrates Creativity at Any Age |
Bakersfield, CA – Southwest Branch Library is proud to host It’s Never Too Late!, an inspiring author panel celebrating writers who found literary success later in life. The event will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Southwest Branch Library on 8301 Ming Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93311.
Presented in partnership with Sybilline Press, this special event features acclaimed novelists Beth Brookhart (The Four Queens of the Buttonbush Museum) and Lorraine Devon Wilke (Chick Singer). Moderated by Lois Henry, the discussion will explore each author’s creative journey, the challenges of entering the publishing world later in life, and how they continue to grow, create, and tell powerful stories.
This event is free and open to the public, and guests will also have the chance to enter a drawing to win one copy of each of the featured books. |
