Did You Know?
You can reserve rooms at the American Fork Library! Demand is high, so we get a lot of questions on this topic. Here are answers to the most frequently asked ones:
What rooms do you have? How many people fit in them? What is the cost?
Free Rooms Rooms for Rent
Conference Room fits 12 and per hour costs $30 for residents,$40 for non-residents
Community Room fits 60 seated (up to 100 without chairs) and per hour costs $50 for residents, $60 for non-residents
What is included? All rooms have chairs, tables or desks, and outlets. Some have projectors, whiteboards, TVs, etc. Our Community Room also has a kitchen and piano*. Tell us if you want access to these things when you place your reservation so we can help find the best room for you and make sure what you need is available.
*There is an extra charge to use the piano to pay for maintenance.
How long can I reserve a room per day? 2 hours. How long beforehand can I make a reservation? 3 months.
What happens if I need to cancel? Please call us! If you don’t show up in 20 minutes, we consider you a “no-show.” After 2 times, we will no longer make your reservations in advance.
How do I reserve a room? In person or by calling the Library’s Information Desk at 801-763-3070, ext 2.
Further questions? Here’s our Meeting Room Policy.
We’ll see you soon at the Library!
