Family Finds Community at Waukesha Public Library
"My name is Jain. We landed in USA for the first time two years ago. The very first day, our native friend introduced us to the Waukesha Public Library, and the same day we made our library card. It's really difficult to engage two girls at an unknown place, but this library really came out as a blessing for us.
We attended every summer activity and those were really amazing. We got a summer bus pass for three months, as we were without a vehicle, just to come each and every day. It became part of our life. Special thanks and love to all of the friendly staff." |
