There's nothing quite like the feeling of successfully completing a task! Just ask any of the teams who participated in our puzzle tournaments this summer, like the family above who could be on a poster for the phrase, "teamwork makes the dream work."
Whether it's a 500-piece puzzle or an unfinished project that keeps moving to the bottom of the pile, sometimes we just need a little help to achieve a goal.
As Forsyth County students head back to school next week, I want to remind you that your library is here to help. With free professional online tutoring, free study rooms, free college admission test prep courses—and more—we have countless resources to help you make this the best school year yet.
Browse our eLibrary by age group for kids, teens, and adults to find free library resources for any project, skill, or interest.
We also have free Chromebooks to check out for up to 30 days, printing and scanning, and probably a copy of that book your kids were supposed to read over the summer and can't find anywhere else!
We're open seven days a week with five locations throughout the county and you don't need to spend a dime to enjoy our spaces, events, and collections. Come as you are, pull up a chair, and let us be part of the support team that gets you across your next finish line.

We did it! We surpassed our goal!
We set a community reading goal this summer of 8 million minutes. This lofty goal was a significant 7.5% increase over last summer's total minutes read (7,441,688), but we had a feeling our participants would be up for the challenge.
Even though the summer reading challenge isn't over until Monday, August 4 at 11:59 p.m., we are thrilled to report that as of this morning, we have surpassed our goal of 8 million minutes with 8,388,925 minutes (and counting)!
Keep logging your reading over the weekend and let's see how far we can go! |
