October Happenings @ FCPL

Get ready for a month of spooky stories, creative crafts, and fangtastic resources you can really sink your teeth into as we embrace all things October at Forsyth County Public Library.

How about a Bat Walk for adults, a Halloween Costume Swap, numerous autumn-inspired crafts, and of course, our beloved Trick-or-Treat storytimes to get the pumpkin rolling?

Not scary enough for you? Perhaps a Ghost Hunt, our Poe-pular Writers' Night of Fright, or A Day in the Life of a Mortician are more eerie-sistible to you!

And don't sleep on our current horror book recommendations! (At least not without the lights on.)

Just in case any of that is too dark for you, Diwali—a joyous festival of lights—begins on October 20, and we have a number of festivities planned for all ages.

Read on for updates on library news, featured resources, and upcoming programs you won't want to miss. We can't wait to help you make the most of your library card this month!
