June is a work of art @ FCPL!

Whether it's finding a new favorite book, enjoying the colorful art-themed summer reading décor, laughing uncontrollably at one of our top-tier summer performers, or reaching that next summer reading challenge reward, it's no wonder so many people call Forsyth County Public Library (FCPL) their "happy place" this time of year! 

Just this morning a grandmother told us her granddaughter could barely sleep last night thinking about the Summer Reading prizes awaiting her today. "It was like Christmas Eve and she was waiting for Santa" she told our staff.

Another patron told us she appreciates how motivating the summer reading program has been for her son. "He can't wait to pick out his next book to read in order to earn his next button!"

Our annual summer reading challenge is in full swing at FCPL!

If you're unfamiliar with summer reading challenges—or think they are just for kids—please allow us to give you a brief overview:
