Things are looking up this month at FoCo Library—literally! Vertical steel beams have been installed at the Denmark Library site, our new Facebook page (@FoCoLibrary) is growing exponentially, and we have a slew of interesting events, series, and opportunities planned for February at your library.

| Summer VolunTEENS Needed!
Adventure begins at your library when you volunteer to assist with Summer Reading Fun!
This teen volunteer opportunity is open to students currently in 8th–11th grade who are available May 24–July 31, 2024.
Our VolunTEENS: Help library users sign-up for Summer Reading.
Assist with Summer Reading events.
Sort and shelve library materials, as assigned.
Make new friends and earn volunteer hours. The 2024 Summer VolunTEEN Application will be open March 11–25 to teens who have attended a mandatory Summer VolunTEEN Information Session in February or March.

Just log in with your library card, select a language, and enjoy a story!
In addition to English, languages include American Sign Language (ASL), Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Korean, Malayalam, Mandarin, Marathi, Portuguese (Brazilian), Tamil, Telugu, and Ukrainian, among many others.
There are no hold times or wait periods to access any of the books. There's also a convenient LOTE4Kids app so you can enjoy your stories on the go! |

Celebrating Black Heritage
FCPL celebrates Black heritage and culture through an exciting series of free educational events at all four libraries this month.
Join us for presentations on Black history, music, and literature, a professional theater production about Jackie Robinson, and a community-based panel showcasing community initiatives to help Forsyth County heal from the events of 1912. |
