You're in Luck This March at Your Library |
|
|
You don't need a four-leaf clover to strike it rich at your library this month!
We’ve done the math, and between our programs, resources, and expert services, a library card is worth way more than a pot of gold. But the real treasure is the connection and joy we see every day—like this proud dad and his little artist captured last month at Hampton Park Library.
This month, we’re blooming with highlights: Literary Gold: Spend an evening with best-selling author Liz Moore.
History in the Making: Join a new statewide reading challenge celebrating America 250.
Survival Skills: Learn how to stay safe if you’re ever lost in the woods (literally a life-saver!).
Cool News: Find out which branch is closing for one day to ensure the "state's busiest library" stays chilled all summer long. Read on to find your next great adventure. May the road rise to meet you!

Scheduled Maintenance at Sharon Forks Library
Sharon Forks Library will be closed on Friday, March 6 for an HVAC system replacement.
This upgrade will help us keep the state's busiest library (#1 in terms of physical circulation!) comfortable and cool as temperatures rise over the coming months.
We appreciate your understanding as we invest in the longevity of our largest building.
Normal operations are expected to resume at Sharon Forks Library on Saturday, March 7. |

⚔️ Huzzah! The Renaissance is Coming to Post Road Library
Ever feel like you were born in the wrong century? This month, we’re turning back the clock for a two-month exploration of the Renaissance—no time machine (or costume!) required. While we have some exciting family and teen programming joining the lineup next month, we are kicking things off with a deep dive for our adult patrons.
Throughout the next few weeks, you can immerse yourself in the past by attending our Intro to the Middle Ages and Medieval Knife Making lectures, getting hands-on in our coin purse and perfume-making workshops, or even mastering the art of the 16th-century burn in our Shakespearean Performance and Insult Workshop.
