We're just a few weeks away from our biggest event of the year:


Forsyth Reads Together: An Evening with Lisa Wingate

Tuesday, March 26, 7:00 p.m. 

Forsyth Conference Center

3410 Ronald Reagan Blvd. 


This event is now full and we're expecting a large audience, but there is a waitlist if you missed your chance to register. 


If you have already registered and can no longer attend, please cancel your registration at ForsythPL.org/MyEvents or call us at 770-781-9840 to cancel for you so we can free up seats for the waitlist.

Denmark Library Update


Whew, it's been a busy month at the construction site! The building’s steel frame is now complete and we've moved on to installing the roof decking. If everything goes as planned, we are hopeful the construction will be complete in late fall of this year.

Summer VolunTEENS Needed! 


Adventure begins at your library when you volunteer to assist with Summer Reading Fun! 


This teen volunteer opportunity is open to students currently in 8th–11th grade who are available May 24–July 31, 2024. 


Our VolunTEENS:

  • Help library users sign-up for Summer Reading.

  • Assist with Summer Reading events.

  • Sort and shelve library materials, as assigned.

  • Make new friends and earn volunteer hours.

The 2024 Summer VolunTEEN Application will be open March 11–25 to teens who have attended a mandatory Summer VolunTEEN Information Session in February or March. 


There are only 3 remaining information sessions, so don't miss out on this application prerequisite!
