Seed Library now available Durham The Library's seed library has taken off, with the support of, and generous donation from, the Grey County Master Gardeners. You can "borrow" up to 3 packages of seeds at Durham Branch, grow them and then pay it forward in the fall with seeds from the adult plants or return your leftover, labelled seeds. We have hand-outs to help get you started, the Master Gardeners have donated a book on starting seeds, and our Gardener-in-Residence Jackie has worked with staff to prepare brief 'how-to' videos as well, available on our YouTube channel. Next up: growing heritage seeds. Let us know how you've used this seed library - and send photos of what you grow!

For all of you who've been doing the kids' scavenger hunt on the sly every month - we see you! And here's your own! Drop by any branch and pick up a hunt sheet with photos of items in that branch. Cross them off as you find them and return the completed sheet to get a small prize. New hunt monthly at all branches.
