September is Library Card Sign-up Month! While today's libraries still serve as a great book hub, there are so many other resources available to library card holders. The library provides access to online databases that help students reach academic success, as well as basic computer classes for the beginning computer user. There are children's programs, access to genealogical materials, and e-book downloads.

There is no charge to sign up for a library card for the first time.

For card replacement, there is a $2 replacement fee.

Ask your friends and family if they have checked out their local public library recently, and encourage them to sign up for their own library card.
