Southwest Georgia Library for Accessible Services
SWGLAS has partnered with Georgia Cares to provide Medicare Assistance each month. There are two certified Medicare Counselors available on the third Thursday of each month between 10 am - 12 pm in Decatur. Georgia Cares also visits the 3rd Monday of each month from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm in Miller County and from 1:30 pm -3:30 pm in Seminole County. 

 This is a FREE service and does not require registration.

The Bainbridge Bookworms at the Decatur County - Gilbert H. Gragg Library will discuss The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot on November 6th at 5 pm. The club will read The Death of Ivan Ilyich by Leo Tolstoy for December. For more information about the book club, call the library at 229-248-2665, ext. 112.
 
The Bookends Book Club at the Decatur County - Gilbert H. Gragg Library will discuss Looking for Me by Beth Hoffman on Monday, November at 26th at 10 am. The club will read The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah for December.
 
The First Tuesday Book Club at the Miller County - James W. Merritt, Jr. Memorial Library will meet November 6th at 10 am and will discuss The Story of Arthur Truluv by Elizabeth Berg. The club will read One Perfect Day by Lauraine Snelling for December. To join the First Tuesday Book Club, contact the library at 229-758-3131. 
 
The First Wednesday Book Club will meet on November 7th at 10 am at the Seminole County Public Library and will discuss My Father and Atticus Finch by Joseph Madison Beck.
