- Sloan Museum of Discovery and Longway Planetarium staff will be here to help children ages 4 - 12 years old work together to investigate balanced and unbalanced forces acting on a marble as we use a variety of interesting materials to build a roller coaster that moves a marble through upside-down loops, curves, and drops.
- Open to children age 4 years old or older only.
- We're limited to 25 kids in each session, so please register for either the 11am-12pm session or the 2pm-3pm session.

We all know that Santa makes everyone’s dreams come true every Christmas, but it turns out that he needs a little help getting into the holiday spirit himself. Instead of letting Santa get right back to work after he returns home to the North Pole on Christmas morning, his loyal elves want to make sure he experiences the same Christmas cheer he provides for others.

We are considering a reorganization of our picture book collection before we move over to our new building, and we'd love a bit of feedback from the caregivers of young children on how you and the children you care for would prefer this section to be organized. The hope is to subdivide our picture books into a few broad categories. We haven't finalized our list of categories, but we're thinking something like: - Concepts (ABCs/123s/Shapes/Colors/Opposites),
- Transportation (Cars/Trucks/Construction/Boats/Trains),
- Nature & Science (Natural World/Seasons/Space/Trees/Flowers),
- Growing Up (First Experiences like losing a tooth, going to the Dr., going to school, etc/Emotions/Family Changes like new siblings, divorce, etc) and a few more.
This survey has only 10 questions, and you can answer as few or as many as you like.

An instruction sheet showing over 20 models to build is included.
