Tween and Teen Lockbox Challenge
  • Kelly Bailo is bringing us a special Lockbox Challenge especially for tweens and teens ages 10-19.
  • Similar to an escape room, we'll be testing you to see how many puzzles you can solve in 20 minutes!
  • You can work in pairs or groups of three to attempt up to twelve different puzzles, so sign up at the same time slot as some of your friends!

Paws For Reading
  • New or struggling readers in grades 1-5 are invited to sign up for a 15-minute "Paws for Reading" session on Wednesday, Jan. 29 with one of our local certified therapy dogs.
  • The goal is to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere in which kids can read without correction or interruption and learn not just to read, but to love reading as well.
  • A handful of books will be available, but feel free to bring one from home. Each child will have one-on-one reading time.
  • Register for one time slot: 5:30-5:45pm ,
    5:45-6pm , 6-6:15pm , 6:15-6:30pm ,

We just added more Wonderbooks to our collection! Wonderbooks are picture books with a built-in audio player that reads the book to you! It's an updated version of the read-along books on CD or cassette that we used to listen to as kids and it even has a Wonder Mode, with questions to engage the listener! It charges with a micro-USB, can be used with or without headphones, and has simple controls so kids can enjoy listening without adult help.
