- You can now claim your Summer Reading Prizes!
- You can do this by logging in to READsquared, finding the prize store, browsing the prizes, and "buying" a prize of your choosing for 250 points! Each patron may claim up to 8 prizes total this summer.
- Prizes will be prepared once each week. Due to the Independence Day Holiday, prize orders placed by Wednesday to be available for pick up inside the library beginning on Saturday.
- For every following week, prizes ordered by Wednesday will be available for pick up inside the library that Friday.

- New or struggling readers in grades 1-5 are invited to sign up for a 15-minute "Paws for Reading" session with one of our local certified therapy dogs.
- Dogs are excellent listeners and never interrupt! The goal is to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere in which kids can read without correction or interruption and learn not just to read, but to love reading as well.
- A handful of books will be available, but feel free to bring one from home. Each child will have one-on-one reading time.
