Genealogy Tips for the Library of Michigan

My advice would be to start with the catalog:

https://research.ebsco.com/c/7uvvy4/search

1.  Look up any city/county where your ancestors live/lived in Michigan.

2.  Create a document of the books/microfilm that you want to pull to check out.

3.  Bring a lunch - there is no longer a store in the library to purchase food.  There are some vending machines but mostly candy and chips.

4.  Bring a sweater, just in case the air is turned up.

5.  Notebook and pencils.  You can bring a computer.  Outlets are available at the tables.
