National Library Week!
April 6 through April 12, 2025

Thousands of people visit their library each week, but is the DRAW?

It is everything that libraries have to offer, from books and movies, to library events for all ages, to a quiet place to study, and everything in between. We love being a community hub, and we appreciate all the support we receive, especially while we work towards opening our new library!

When you drop into the library between April 6 and April 12, pick up a "swag bag" and some stickers! Available while supplies last.

Feeding the Birds w/ Sloan-Longway
Sunday, April 27, 12:30pm or 2:30pm
  • Birds help move seeds from place to place. Sloan Museum of Discovery and Longway Planetarium staff will be here to help children aged 7-12 years old explore the different ways animals help disperse seeds, while designing and building our own bird feeders to take home.
  • Adult assistance will be required, so caregivers should plan to stay in the room to help.
  • Open to children ages 7 years old or older ONLY at the request of our presenter. We're limited to 25 kids in each session.
  • Please register for either the 12:30-1:30pm or the 2:30-3:30pm session.
