Great news! There is still time to read, attend events, and complete activities for points before the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge ends on August 15! Did you know that you can backdate your reading all the way to June 1? Add in all the reading you have done this summer so you can achieve the 1,000 point Summer Champion goal! To claim your Summer Reading prizes: - Claim prizes through READsquared. Find the prize store, browse the prizes, then "buy" a prize of your choosing for 250 points!
- Prizes ordered by Wednesday evenings will be available for pick up inside the library that Friday morning. Each patron may claim up to 8 prizes during the summer.
- For the final week of Summer Reading: prizes can be claimed up to the last day, August 15. Prizes claimed on 8/14 and 8/15 may not be available to pickup until the following week.

Retro Radio Rainbow teaches the 7 colors of the rainbow in the coolest way ever! Radio was king in the 1940s and 1950s, so manufacturers came up with eye-popping designs in a spectacular array of colors in order to stand out. Their competition resulted in amazing radios in every color of the rainbow!

In Wimee Creates with Vehicles and Colors, join robot Wimee from the PBS show Wimee's Words for some wacky wordplay and visual fun. This book teaches rhyming and colors, plus prepositions and action verbs, and encourages readers to find more rhymes and make their own images.

What could be more perfect than a brand new set of crayons? Evan can’t wait to use them, until SNAP!, the brown one breaks in two. Then one by one, the others break, get crushed, are blown away, or simply disappear. How can he possibly draw when there’s no green, purple, or even black?Evan scribbles using all the bits and pieces that are left. But what’s this? Where yellow and blue cross, there’s green, and when blue and red get all mixed up, it creates just the right purple! Evan discovers that even with just a few crayons, he can create new and exciting art.

Caesar is a large white dog with a great many black spots. Or is he a large black dog with even more white spots? That’s the trouble: he doesn’t know which, and though nobody in the family seems to care, he won’t rest until he uncovers the truth. - This month's craft is the Creature Habitat, which includes a plastic insect, sea creature, or land animal as well as a cardstock habitat to design, cut and color.
- If the registration list is full, please add yourself to the waitlist, as we often have kits not picked up promptly that we can offer to the waitlist.
- Kits will be labeled with the adult's last name and available to pick up inside the library (in a box on top of the Juvenile Graphic Novel shelves) beginning Tuesday, August 5th. Any kits not picked up by Tuesday, August 12th will be offered to children on the wait list. Registration required.
