Registration is Required

Log your reading on Beanstack online or the Beanstack app to earn badges.
Read 10 hours and earn a Beardie Buck good for $1 toward the purchase of a Friends Book Sale item or Loki accessory available at the Checkout Desk. Open to all ages!

Join the Friends of the Library!

The Friends of the Oconomowoc Public Library is a nonprofit group created to support the mission of the Oconomowoc Public Library by raising funds for the Library for special programs and purposes including Explore Passes, Loki’s care, and so much more.


Annual membership fees help support the Friends fundraising efforts and give members early access to book sales.

Helen Farnsworth Mears Art Exhibition

The Oconomowoc Junior Woman's Club celebrates Youth Art Month in a unique and special way! Come and see the annual Helen Farnsworth Mears Art Contest for 7th and 8th grade students, on display at the Library.

Programs & Events

Join students from Oconomowoc High School's French Honor Society for an unforgettable Mardi Gras celebration! Immerse yourself in the vibrant festivities featuring Mardi Gras-themed crafts, French treats, and a lively atmosphere filled with music and fun. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Tuesday, March 4 • 2-3 pm

Homeschool families are invited to gather for a special lesson. Best for ages 8-12. Children ages 5-7 will require assistance from either an adult or older sibling. Registration is required for each student.

Saturday, March 8 • 10:30-11:30 am

Build, challenge, and create at our monthly LEGO Club! Use the library’s abundance of LEGOs to try out a special building challenge, complete STEM projects, or just use your imagination to build with friends and family. 

Best for ages 5 and up.

Bluey: The Scavenger Hunt

Aw, biscuits! Bluey and Bingo want to play, but they need your help finding their friends and toys hidden in the Library! Let's play scavenger hunt and make wackadoo crafts, for real life!

Mr. Truffles, the owner of a candy shop, has invited you to his homeland, Candylleria, but first you need to solve puzzles to figure out the secret code to open the portal to this magical land.


Visit the Reference Desk or New Children's shelf to pick up your family packet of puzzles, available Monday, March 17-Friday, March 28. Solve the puzzle and return to the Reference Desk by Friday, April 4 to enter a drawing for the game 16 Candies and read the answer sheet. Recommended for ages 7+ years.

BeTween Time - Make a Pot of Gold!

Wednesday, March 12 • 4-5 pm

What time is it? BeTween time! A monthly, after-school meetup for ages 8-12, with a different activity planned each month.


Get ready for St. Patrick's Day by making your own pot of gold! While we make it we will read some St. Patrick's Day stories and talk about the history of it. 


We will be offering acrylic paint to use so please wear clothes that can get messy!
