Storytime with Author Amanda Stewart

Saturday, November 8 • 10-11 am


Join us for a special Saturday storytime with the author of Treasures, Amanda Stewart! Stewart is a local author and elementary school educator. She will be joining us for an early literacy storytime where the kids can sing, dance, and read along, as well as ask questions about what it is like to be an author. All ages.

Letters for Veterans

Saturday, November 15 • 10 am-12 pm


Join us in writing letters for the brave heroes who fought for our country. All letters will be delivered to the Oconomowoc Veterans Clinic.

Family Fun Night: Turkey Bingo!

Tuesday, November 18 • 6:30-7:30 pm


Gobble up some good fun at our family bingo night: Thanksgiving edition! Registration is required. Please register each member of the family who will be playing.

Zootopia
Saturday, November 22 • 10 am-12 pm


Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show as we watch Zootopia (PG) on the big screen. Make the day extra special by bringing a cardboard box you can sit in and deck it out as your very own DIY drive-in movie car. Movie snacks and craft supplies will be provided.

Shorehaven Storytime

Friday, November 14 • 10-11 am


Join the library in caring and sharing with our friends at Shorehaven! This intergenerational storytime features moving, shaking, singing, and reading, all in the spirit of being together in our community.

Let’s learn about the people who help make our city a great place to live through books, songs, and rhymes! Our special guests from the Western Lakes Fire District will share about their jobs, how they serve our community, and some stories.

Build, challenge, and create at our monthly LEGO Club! Use the library’s abundance of LEGOs to try out a special building challenge, complete STEM projects, or just use your imagination to build with friends and family.

The Curiosity Club

Some after-school science fun! Enjoy some interesting STEAM based activities, and learn how they work. 


Best for ages 8-12. Children between the ages of 5-7 will require assistance from either an adult or older sibling. Registration for children is required. Adults do not need to register.

TWEEN (AGES 8-12)

SmACK (Smart, Awesome, Cool Kids) at the Library 

Monday, November 3 • 4-5 pm

If you are between the ages of 8-11 and tired of being too old for storytime but too young for teen events, we want to hear from you! Join SmACK and let us know what you want to see for your age group at the Library. SmACK is an after-school meetup for active kids who want to be involved at the Library and in their community. Each meeting features activities, snacks, volunteering, thoughtful discussions, and more. Registration is required.

BeTween Time - Honey Heist

Monday, November 10 • 4-5:30 pm


What time is it? BeTween time! A monthly, after-school meetup for ages 8-12, with a different activity planned each month.This month: Honey Heist! Honey Heist is a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) perfect for kids who want to play Dungeons and Dragons one day, but are a little intimidated by it. It will engage their critical thinking, and help increase their ability to work in teams by working together as bears to steal some honey. Registration is required.

Bookmark Makers

Monday, November 10 • 6–8 pm


Ever wonder how you could share your creative side with the rest of the community? Join our monthly bookmark-making bonanza! Make one (or more) to give away to patrons at the library and one to take home! 


Supplies provided but feel free to bring your own paper arts and ribbon supplies to embellish!
