We invite you to embark on a journey of creativity, celebrating the ways art and stories enrich our lives. Our Summer Library Program offers programs, prize drawings, and more for all ages! All are invited to join.

Event Registration Begins June 2 at 9 am.

Griffin Buddies 2025

This summer pair up your Grifflet (emerging reader) with a Big Griff (teen volunteer) to practice reading skills with lots of smiles and encouragement along the way. Each pair will set their own reading goals, which will count toward earning prizes.

Join the Friends of the Library!

The Friends of the Oconomowoc Public Library is a nonprofit group created to support the mission of the Oconomowoc Public Library by raising funds for the Library for special programs and purposes including Explore Passes, Loki’s care, and so much more.


Annual membership fees help support the Friends fundraising efforts and give members early access to book sales.

Programs & Events

Library programs, events, and activities are free and open to the public, but some may require registration. A waiting list is available if registration is full.

FAMILY (ALL AGES)

Homeschool @ the Library

Tuesday, May 6 • 2-3 pm

Homeschool families are invited to gather for a special lesson. Best for ages 8-12. Children ages 5-7 will require assistance from either an adult or older sibling.

Saturday, May 17 • 9-10 am

Meet up at Veterans Memorial Park for a walk down memory lane. Learn about the history of the settlers who founded Oconomowoc, the families who built the architectural jewels on our lakes, and our community that has thrived for more than 150 years!

Spring into your favorite book! Drop in and make some bookmarks for your little bookworm.

Best for ages 5-12. Children ages 0-5 will require assistance from either an adult or older sibling.
