Log your reading on Beanstack online or the Beanstack app to earn badges.
Read 10 hours and earn a Beardie Buck good for $1 toward the purchase of a Friends Book Sale item or Loki accessory available at the Checkout Desk. Open to all ages!

Disney on Ice Reading Challenge

December 2-February 17 • Ages 2-12

Earn a free child ticket to Disney on Ice at the Fiserv Forum! Pick up your log in the Children's Area, read five books, and visit the Reference Desk to complete your log. Visit the box office and turn in the stamped log to reserve a child ticket for a February show with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Don’t forget Monster Jam Reading Challenge runs November 4-January 11!

Let’s dance! Everyone is invited to celebrate reading with music and dancing! If you’re not one of our 1000 book-readers yet, please join us and sign up for this FREE early literacy program!

Homeschool families are invited to gather for a special lesson. Best for ages 8-12. Children ages 5-7 will require assistance from either an adult or older sibling. Registration is required for each student.

Geology of Wisconsin with Jason Rehorst

Tuesday, January 28 • 6-7 pm

Did you know that the Great Lakes offer one of the most unique assortment of rocks in the world? Join geologist and paleontologist Jason Rehorst for an all-ages program about minerals, fossils and crystals! Attendees will learn how to build and maintain a rock collection, the geological history and fossil record of Wisconsin, and be able to examine and handle various fossils and minerals. This program supplements the month long exhibit of the Virtual Museum of Geology's Travelling Educational Display at the Oconomowoc Public Library.

Come on down to the library and learn how to make your own Fizzy Moon Sand! We will go over what makes the sand fizz, you'll make your own to take home, and you'll get a copy of the recipe to make it with your friends and family!
