Jurassic Journey Logo

Jurassic Journey Reading Challenge

April 1–30


Teens who read five books in April can earn a free child’s ticket to Jurassic Journey (with the purchase of an adult ticket) at the Waukesha Expo Center, May 8–25.


Jurassic Journey is the Midwest’s largest animatronic dinosaur attraction, featuring over 60 life-size dinosaurs—including a 40-foot T‑Rex—plus rides, interactive exhibits, and hands-on activities for all ages. One admission includes everything needed for a full day of family fun and discovery.


Pick up a reading log at the Library beginning Wednesday, April 1. Return completed logs by Thursday, April 30 to receive a ticket voucher.

One Beardie Buck

April Reading Challenge


Read 10 hours this month and earn a Beardie Buck good for $1 toward the purchase of a Friends Book Sale item! Visit the New Children’s Shelf to pick up your log, track your reading, and return the completed log to the desk within the first week of May. All ages.

Programs & Events

Library programs, events, and activities are free and open to the public, but some may require registration. A waiting list is available if registration is full.

Gardening Webinar with Melinda Myers

Teen Pokémon Club!

Gotta catch ‘em all—at the Library! Join us for Pokémon Club! Teens will be able to trade Pokémon cards, watch some Pokémon, learn how to play the TCG, and get to know other teens who love Pokémon.

Looking for a cool card or bookmark idea? Come to our monthly Papercraft Party! Use our stash of high‑quality papers and supplies to design your own creations. We’ve got everything you need—but bring your own materials if you want to make something extra unique!

Knitting! Sketching! Crochet! Come on down to the Library for some designated crafting time with other teens! Bring your current project and join us, or come and learn a new skill!
