Reading Program 

Starting June 2!

Open to Kids, Teens, & Adults!

Track reading and log activities to earn books, coupons, and tickets for prize drawings. This year our summer reading will be logged on paper logs that you can pick up at the Summer Reading Room starting June 2. You will still have the option to sign up online.

Journey of Dragons: A Library Challenge

June 2-August 29

Whispers echo through the realms—tales of Guardian Dragons, the ancient keepers of wisdom who scattered their secrets across the land to protect them from being lost to time.

Now, the legends stir once more. The dragons’ hidden knowledge awaits discovery within the four great realms of Bridges Library System.

Join a party of adventurers on a legendary journey. Visit libraries, gather letters and stamps, then piece together passwords to unlock the magic the dragons left behind.

Rambling Readers

Monday, June 2 & July 7 • 7-8 pm

Join us for the OPL's Rambling Readers, a new read-anything walking book club. Chat about what you're reading and get ideas for what to read next, all while walking around Fowler Lake (~2 miles).

Meet on the library steps at 7 pm wearing comfortable walking shoes. We'll start walking toward Lac La Belle at 7:05.

Please join Kathy Ginn as she opens the door to exploring the Sacredness of Life and Death. This program is an invitation for anyone seeking a more intentional approach to living and a wider lens to end of life planning. When you consciously contemplate and connect with others around the reality of your mortality, it will change how you live and how you die, right here, right now and for the rest of your life.

Ever wonder how you could share your creative side with the rest of the community? Join our monthly bookmark-making bonanza! Make one (or more) to give away to patrons at the library and one to take home! 

Supplies provided but feel free to bring your own paper arts and ribbon supplies to embellish!
