At the dawn of the 20th century, Vienna was a city of brilliance and upheaval. Gustav Klimt broke from rigid traditions and led the Vienna Secession, championing bold new ideas in art. As Stefan Zweig wrote, “It was only in art that all Viennese felt equal, because art, like love, was a duty for everyone.”
Join us as we explore Klimt’s life and works with Professor Karri Fritz-Klaus of the Cornerstone History Symposium.
