Summer Library Program

June 8–August 8

Looking for a fun, flexible way to stay engaged this summer? Your Library’s Summer Reading Program offers a simple way to build reading habits, explore new ideas, and earn rewards along the way.

This program is more than just a reading challenge—it’s an easy, enjoyable way to keep your mind active and curious all season long. With a mix of reading, activities, and prize incentives, it’s designed to fit into your schedule, whether you have a few minutes or a few hours to spare.

Getting started is easy. Work through six steps at your own pace, celebrating progress as you go. Want to do more? Bonus steps and activities give you even more opportunities to participate—and more chances to win prizes.

Reading Challenge

  • Earn one prize drawing ticket for every four hours of reading

  • Read 12 hours to earn a free book and coupons

  • Read 24 hours to complete the challenge and earn another free book and coupons

  • Keep going even after you finish to earn bonus prize drawing tickets, and complete optional activities for even more chances to win.

Sign up online starting Monday, June 1, and visit the Summer Reading Room beginning Monday, June 8 to pick up your Reading Logs.
