Construction Update

Windows have been installed on the new part of the library! Work is now focusing on the inside and getting walls up to divide the space into our new meeting rooms, teen space, and Makerspace!

One Million Acts of Science Bingo

starting Tuesday, April 1st

Pick up Bingo sheet at the check out desk 

Play Citizen Science Bingo during the month of April and help complete One Million Acts of Science!

Pick up a Bingo sheet at the library, complete at least 5 of the citizen science prompts during the month of April, then return the Bingo sheet to the library for your reward! One Bingo sheet/reward per person. For all ages.

Community Helpers Storytime

Celebrate Financial Literacy month with a fun storytime that will be presented with the help of a community member! There will also be opportunities to play and learn with hands-on activities. PLUS the first twelve children attending will receive a free piggy bank!

April's storytime will feature a banker!

Please note the different location! Due to library construction, storytime will be held at the Cravath Lakefront Community Center. 

This is a free, drop-in program. No registration is required. Best for ages 2-6. All ages welcome!

Children and caregivers explore a world instrument petting zoo, create up-cycled process art projects together, and engage in a whimsical music and movement program with instrument and movement props. Presented by Noelle Larson, board-certified music therapist and owner of Circle of Song Music Therapy. 

Best for ages 3-8. All ages welcome. There is no cost or registration.

Come to a bat-tastic Memory Cafe and discuss how important bats are to people, plants, and the environment. You can share the story of your most exciting bat encounter! Please note: no actual bats will be at the program. 

What is a Memory Cafe? A Memory Cafe is an informal social gathering for those living with early-stage memory loss and their care partner.
