New Programming & Makerspace Librarian We are thrilled to welcome Hunter Swanson to the team as our new Programming & Makerspace Librarian! Hunter graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Master of Library and Information Science degree in 2022 and spent two years as a Young Adult Librarian in North Lake, WI. During his time there, he fell in love with his work in the Library’s Makerspace. He looks forward to bringing that love to Whitewater and hopes to cultivate a space for hands-on learning and expression within Whitewater Public Library. When Hunter isn’t at work, you’re likely to find him enjoying a good book or film, taking in some live music, or spending quality time with his cats.
