Introducing the Whitewater Public Library! |
 | The Board of Trustees voted unanimously at their July meeting to rename the Irvin L. Young Memorial Library the Whitewater Public Library.
It is important to the library board, library staff, and community that the Young name continues to be honored. A sign over the entrance to the existing library will read “Irvin L. Young Memorial Wing.” Read more about the decision here.
There is still time to contribute to the library's building project! |

A haunting debut about five sisters in a small village in 18th century England whose neighbors are convinced they're turning into dogs. Little Nettlebedis has always been a village steeped in the uncanny, from strange creatures that wash up on the riverbed to portentous ravens gathering on the roofs of people about to die. But when the villagers start to hear barking, and when one claims to see the Mansfield sisters transform before his very eyes, the allegations spark fascination and fear like nothing has before. |

Baldwin: A Love Story tells the overlapping stories of Baldwin's most sustaining intimate and artistic relationships: with his mentor, the Black American painter Beauford Delaney; with his lover and muse, the Swiss painter Lucien Happersberger; and with his collaborators, the Turkish actor Engin Cezzar and the iconoclastic French artist Yoran Cazac. |
