Tech Help by Appointment

Do you need help getting around your laptop or tablet? Would you like to set up an email account? Do you want to download an eBook? Need help searching for and applying for jobs? Tech help appointments are now available. Appointments last up to 1 hour. Registration is required. 
 
Salina Detective Bureau
Continues in February
Get out of your house and participate in solving crimes! Pick up a packet at the desk for this 8-week winter program for adults 18+ beginning on January 2nd. Solve mysteries in the packet and turn them in for raffle tickets. Come to any of 6 special mystery events and get raffle tickets for those, too! The raffle winner will get 2 tickets to the Hollywood Theatre.
 
Art Exhibit: Suzanne Masters
Throughout the Month of February
Suzanne Masters is a local textile artist who studied surface pattern and design at Syracuse University, immersed in the detail. She also enjoys integrating gifts from nature, like leaves, sticks, seeds, and feathers into her pieces. She will try new variations and do a series of pieces to express the process, then she’s off to the next experience. View her work throughout the month of February.
 
Chili Cook-Off
Monday, February 2 at 6:00 pm
Is your chili the best? Enter our 3rd annual Chili Cook-Off for the chance to prove it! The Grand Champion wins a medal, bragging rights, and a $25 Tops gift card. Sign up at our front desk or call 315-454-4524. Want to taste some great chili and vote for your favorite? Stop by between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. For adults 18+.
 
Trivia Night
Friday, February 13 from 6:00-8:30 pm
It’s trivia night and your team might win a prize! Teams can be up to 4 people, and if you don’t have a team you can join one. Please bring something for the potluck table; we’ll provide the mocktails. You could even win a door prize! For adults 18+. Registration is required. The library is closed from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm then will be open to adults from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm.

Learn to embroider throughout the year, adding stitches with each class. At the end of the year you’ll have completed 12 different felt ornaments and learned many stitches! This month you’ll make a heart. All supplies are provided. For adults 18+. Registration is required.
