Adults get a coupon for a free small fries from McDonald's. Kids get a choice of either a coupon for a free kid's meal from Raising Cane's or a free hour of jump time at Get Air.
You will also be entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card!
Already have a card? You can earn the same things just by stopping by the front desk to update the information on your account!

Book Nook (Behind the London Public Library)
Visit the Book Nook May-October on the first Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for great deals on books, DVDs, and more! Bring a bag from previous years to fill up with books and pay only $5! There are children's books, teen, fantasy, mysteries, thrillers, adult, crime, nonfiction, cookbooks, self-help, romance, and more. Help support your London Public Library by shopping locally for your books!

Yarnies: Fiber Arts Club
Wednesday, September 16th, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
London Public Library Reading Room
Join us for an hour of crafting! If you enjoy knitting, crocheting, or any other fiber arts please join us for an hour of socializing and crafting! Whether you're a beginner or an expert, bring along your current project and work alongside others who enjoy crafting as much as you! This is not a class, but we do encourage anyone that comes to share their skills with beginners if they feel so inclined. Yarnies will meet in the Magazine/Newspaper room upstairs in the library, across from the front desk. (All ages)

Free After-School Snacks for Students
Every Monday - Friday, 3:15 PM - 4:15 PM
Beginning Tuesday, September 8th

London Public Library Hartley Meeting Room
Students ages 18 and under can stop by the library every weekday from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. for a free after-school snack to enjoy while at the library! Brought to you in partnership with Children's Hunger Alliance.

Toddler Time will engage your child with stories, songs, and finger plays. For ages 0 - 3 years. Each week focuses on a different theme using books, songs, and finger plays to reinforce the topic and boost early literacy. We incorporate lots of music and movement. There are weeks we will use musical instruments, scarves, balls, and a parachute.

Preschool Story Time will delight your child with stories, songs, finger plays, and a weekly letter activity. For ages 3 - 6 years. Each week focuses on a different theme using books, songs, and finger plays to reinforce the topic and boost early literacy. We incorporate lots of music and movement. There are weeks we will use musical instruments, scarves, balls, and a parachute. Preschoolers have the opportunity to practice the alphabet with a special letter activity after the regular story time is finished.

Children ages 4 - 6 can practice the alphabet and motor skills to prepare for kindergarten! We will practice letter sounds and writing letters using a variety of multisensory literacy activities. Children can also master the important fine motor skills and gross motor skills needed to start school. We will work on numbers and counting, scissors, sorting, patterns, and more!
Unicorn Rides

Imagine with Imagipals

Create a friend and habitat! Drop in during program hours to:
Choose your Imagipal!
Color and decorate its ball habitat!

Book Club

Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of every month when we meet to discuss the current book and pick up the next month’s title. We reserve copies that you can get at the library. This month we will be discussing Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult. (Ages 18+)
This month, join us at 6:30pm for finger foods and socialization! Book club discussion will start at 7:00pm as normal.

Learn more about YA author Kristy Boyce and how her books came to be. Kristy’s presentation will be followed by a Q&A and a book signing. Kristy's third book in her Gaming and Romance series, Rolls and Rivalry, was just released in May - reserve your copy at the library today!
The Life of Princess Diana
Tuesday, September 22nd, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Susan Cannavino joins us for another fascinating presentation, this time about Princess Diana! This presentation covers topics such as Diana's encounter with Charles when she was 16, her life before the courtship, the red flags before the wedding, and will conclude with information about the day of the wedding. (Ages 18+)

Are you struggling to work the new iPad you got for Christmas? Maybe you want to set up a social media account but don't know where to start? Do you want to become more knowledgeable on how to work your email? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the London Public Library can help! We are now offering FREE Technology Help Sessions during the week by appointment only! Call or come in to schedule your help session! Each help session will provide a one-on-one 45-minute time block where you can ask questions and be shown how to use/do various tasks. Help session attendees must bring their own technology to learn on.
