Community Earth Day Celebration Tuesday, April 22, 4:30- 6 pm Let's celebrate Earth Day! Join families and friends for afternoon activities, learning and fun to celebrate the Earth with the Riverside Library, The Treehouse, D96, the Riverside Community Garden, and other community groups! The celebration will be at the Community Garden, 400 Nuttall Road; in case of weather the event will be held at the NEW Treehouse in the Arcade Building, 1 N Riverside Road. No registration required. Family STEAM Explorers: Learning Crates Saturday, April 26, 10 am- 12 pm Families can register to reserve a Kiwi Crate (ages 5+), Atlas Crate (ages 6+) or Tinker Crate (ages 9+). The crates contain hands-on fun and learning activities for children to explore STEAM concepts. Take your crate home or work on it together at the library. Registration is required. Nature Based Storytime with C4 Sunday, April 27, 3 pm The Library and C4 Living Infrastructure Committee will be joining together for a nature based storytime, followed by a hike at Swan Pond with Lisa Gaynor, a nature based early childhood educator. This program will take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Registration required. Preschool- 3rd Grade with an adult. |
