October Events at Your Library

Join us for a drive thru TRUNK OR TREAT!
| We will be joined by members of the community to set up stations in our parking lot for you to drive thru and receive tons of fun goodies -- including children's BOOKS. The Library will be giving away free books to each car as well as a special treat. Swing by anytime between 3 PM and 7 PM!

Many film and TV productions are being made in Georgia. Peg and Tom Thon have many years experience in theater, TV, and films. On Monday, October 9, 12:00pm - 1:00pm, they will share their knowledge and insights and show you how to use your current occupation and personal skills to get work in the industry, both in front and behind the camera. Drinks will be provided and the public is encouraged to bring a sack lunch if they would like.

Afternoon Unwind continues with a Pumpkin Edition! Come hang out and relax with us! FREE coffee (hot or iced), hot tea, and snacks every Friday afternoon in October from 3pm - 6pm. Read a book or bring your tablet or laptop and unwind. Ahhh.... |

Welcome to the Oglethorpe County LiSCARY!! Drop by any time between October 23 and October 31 to make some cool crafts, play fun games, or check out some of our spookiest books. Plus, you may get a treat from one of our li-scare-ians. Costumes are absolutely encouraged. |

Halloween Movie Night |

Join us for Halloween Movie Night! We will watch a family-friendly new release that will be fun for the whole family and everyone is invited.....even our own paranormal friends...... Snacks will be provided but feel free to bring your own and anything you need to get cozy for this viewing of a (new) classic Halloween mystery. |
