More Events for All Ages:
  • LEGO Day- Join us to build with Legos! For each creation you build, receive an entry in our LEGO Club drawing for a LEGO gift card. June 9  & July 14 from 10:00am-8:00pm
 
  • Wild Time Exotics Animal Show- Join us at the Rogers Elementary Gymnasium (200 Rogers Street, Waterloo) for a special animal show with a variety of animals! The doors open at 1:45pm, show starts at 2:00pm. June 11 at 2:00pm
 
  • Sign Language Fun Night (ages 5+)- Join us as we learn American Sign Language essential signs & completing some fun activities and games to practice what we learned! Led by a certified sign language interpreter. You do not need any sign language experience to attend! June’s theme is world & countries, July’s is summer. June 18 & July 16 at 7:00pm
 
  • ASL Basics Class (ages 5+)-We will be learning the ASL alphabet and basic greetings & conversational words. Led by a certified sign language interpreter. You do not need any sign language experience to attend! July 8 at 10:00am and 7:00pm
 
  • Carnival at MTL!- There will be hot dogs, ice cream, games, and more! August 1 from 5:00-7:00 pm
 
  • The Astounding World's Fair on June 19 at 1:00pm - Mike Truax, President of the 1904 World's Fair Society, will relate and show many interesting, unusual, and little-known facts and images from the 1904 World's Fair. 
 
  • A Trip to the Pike on June 25 at 1:00pm- Learn all about the Pike as Mike Truax, 1904 World's Fair Society President, describes the experiences of a typical 1904 family as they take "A Trip to the Pike".
 
  • Amelia Earhart at the 1904 World's Fair on June 27 at 7:00pm - Join Barbara Kay, a historical actor, as she portrays Amelia Earhart attending the 1904's World Fair. Barbara will also explain how Amelia's experience at the fair inspired her to build a roller coaster.
