What's New

Christmas for Kids is back at the Estacada Library!

We are happy to partner with Crystal Freeman and Christmas for Kids Estacada & Eagle Creek to help families in need this holiday season. Applications will be available at the library beginning Saturday, November 30. Donations of new unwrapped gifts also begin on November 30. 

APPLICATIONS MUST BE FILLED OUT BY THE CHILDREN'S LEGAL GUARDIAN.

SHIBA Medicare Couseling

Tuesday, November 5

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Medicare Open Enrollment ends on Dec 7. Do you need help with your coverage options or changing your medical insurance? SHIBA volunteers are providing one-on-one in-person counseling. 
Registration required:  call 503-655-8269 and choose option 4.

Dia de los Muertos Celebration

Saturday, November 9

1:00 p.m. -  3:00 p.m.

Día de los Muertos is a time to gather, remember and celebrate our loved ones who went before us.

Celebrate with us in the Flora Room with face painting for children, crafts, and sugar skull decorating. There will be door prizes, free books for children, and community resources.

Bee City USA Creates Bee Habitats

Saturday, November 9

10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Come help save the bees! We will be creating pollinator habitats outdoors. Bring gloves and dress for the fall weather.

Tools and snacks will be provided.

Needle Felting Mushrooms

Emily S @emily_needlefelts is back! To celebrate Fall she will be teaching us how to make mushrooms out of wool. 
Registration required. 20 spots available. Craft supplies provided.


Gingerbread Character Contest

November 18 to
December 18

Decorate your character at home and return your completed Gingerbread to the library for display by Dec. 18 to enter the contest!

Come pick up your gingerbread cutout at the library while supplies last (gingerbread not included).


Helpful Hungry Bats

Every night our furry, flying friends – bats – can eat their body weight in insects! Come learn about these fantastic creatures and the important roles they play in Oregon. 

Make bat crafts, explore echolocation, and discover how to help with bat boxes.
